Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for establishing and implementing the heat treatment quality control system and the overall quality control requirements for quality planning and continuous improvement, personnel, materials, equipment, process materials, process and process control, workplace and safety and health. This standard is applicable to organizations establishing a heat treatment quality control system, compiling heat treatment documents, managing heat treatment equipment and instruments, controlling production process quality, implementing technical transformation, planning and design, etc. It is also applicable to reviewing the organization's heat treatment quality control system.
