Scope: This standard specifies the type, size, technical conditions and marks of fine-pitch type 2 hex nuts. This standard applies to Type 2 hexagonal nuts with thread nominal diameter D = 8 mm ~ 36 mm, performance grades 8, 10 and 12, product grades A and B, and fine thread. Grade A is used for nuts with D≤16 mm; Grade B is used for nuts with D>16 mm.
