Scope

This standard specifies the general technical conditions applicable to standardized bolts, screws and nuts, and also recommends the use of non-standard fasteners. It specifies national standards that can be referenced in technical requirements such as tolerances, mechanical and functional properties, geometric properties, surface defects and quality conditions.
