Scope

This standard specifies the technical specifications and requirements for the collection, storage and transportation of samples for veterinary diagnosis including basic principles of sampling, preparation before sampling, sample collection and processing methods, sample storage packaging and waste dis osal, sampling records and sample transportation, etc. This standard applies to the collection, storage and transportation of animal dis ase laboratory samples for veterinary diagnosis epidemic monitoring, livestock and poultry dis ase prevention and control, immune effect assessment and health certification.
