- Scope
- This standard specifies the composition, classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging and transportation of radiation-type goods and (or) vehicle inspection systems. This standard applies to radiation-type cargo and (or) vehicle inspection systems, which use γ-ray or X-ray energy greater than 500 keV. This standard does not apply to cargo and (or) vehicle inspection systems using neutron source radiation inspection, computer tomography or backscatter technology.
