Scope

This part of GB/T 19292 specifies the method for determining the corrosion rate of standard specimens. These measurements (corrosion rate in the first year of exposure) will be used as the classification basis for the assessment of atmospheric corrosivity in GB/T 19292.1. It can also be used for informative evaluation of atmospheric corrosion outside the scope of GB/T 19292.1.
