Scope

This part of GB/T 26949 specifies the test methods for verifying the stability of counterbalanced forklifts with a mast and handling empty or fully loaded freight containers with a length of 6 m or more. This section applies to forklifts equipped with forks, spreaders (top lift and side lift) or other load handling devices for handling containers. This section does not apply to forklifts handling containers with a movable center of gravity (see GB/T 17382-2008).
