Scope

This part of GB/T 2679 specifies the method for determining the ring compressive strength of paper and cardboard using a compression tester. This section applies to the test of the ring crush strength of paper and paperboard with a thickness ranging from 0.10 mm to 0.58 mm. For specimens with a thickness below 0.28 mm, the test result is the resultant force of instability failure and pure compression.
