声学低压细水雾灭火系统是以水和氮气为灭火介质的双流体低压细水雾灭火、控火、防火系统。 声学低压细水雾灭火系统与其它细水雾系统最根本的区别在于产生细水雾的机理不同。氮气在喷头处产生一定的声波，当水流经喷头时就被迅速雾化并喷放到防护区空间。遇到火焰时瞬间汽化，这些蒸汽可以迅速降温，同时形成一个高效缺氧环境，通过水蒸气、氮气产生降温和窒息作用，快速抑制和扑灭火灾。 声学低压细水雾灭火系统在最小设计工作压力下，经喷头喷出并在喷头轴线下方1.0m处的平面上形成的细水雾粒径Dv0.5小于80μm,Dv0.99小于200μm。同时有15%的氮气参与灭火，在100m3标准实验室试验，喷头点气体压力为0.35MPa，气体流量3kg/min；水压为0.02MPa（4L/min），1.2min就可完全扑灭1m2的标准油盘火。由于雾滴细小，能够迅速充满被保护区的空间，达到全淹没灭火的效果，通过试验与计算确认单位体积的用水量为0.2L/m3?min。
