This International Standard specifies the essential dimensional features of S-, G-, D- and DV-oil control piston ring types. The normal range for the axial width of oil control rings (2,5 to 8 mm inclusive) is divided into 0,5 or 1,0 mm increments. In table 7, dimensions in inch units are given for oil control rings with axial width 4,75 mm (equal to 3/16 in) for existing applications. The requirements of this International Standard apply to oil control rings for reciprocating internal combustion piston engines, up to and including 200 mm diameter. It may also be used for piston rings of compressors working under similar conditions.

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of synchronous pulleys for use in automotive applications of synchronous endless belt drives. The characteristics include — tooth dimensions and tolerances; — pulley tolerances and quality specifications.

This part of ISO 6626 specifies the essential dimensional features of coil-spring-loaded oil control rings made of cast iron, types DSF-C, SSF, GSF, DSF, SSF-L, DSF-NG and DSF-CNP. It is applicable to those piston rings in sizes 60 mm to 110 mm, inclusive, for reciprocating internal combustion engines for road vehicles and other applications.

This International Standard specifies the nominal dimensions and tolerances which affect the interchangeability between flywheels and spring-loaded single- or two-plate clutches. The flywheels are for use on reciprocating internal combustion engines in conjunction with flywheel housings and clutch housings which are dealt with in ISO 7648[1] and ISO 7649[2]. Dimensions and tolerances not specified are left to the discretion of the component manufacturer. This International Standard applies to reciprocating internal combustion engines, with the exception of engines for aircraft and passenger cars; it may be used for other engine applications where no specific International Standard exists. NOTE — It is recognized that the dimensions shown in this International Standard may not be suitable for some designs in use at present, but they should be used for all new designs as a means of achieving rationalization in the future.

This International Standard specifies the essential dimensional features of scraper rings made of cast iron, types N, NM, E, and EM, having diameters from 30 mm up to and including 200 mm, used in reciprocating internal combustion engines for road vehicles and other applications.
Internal combustion engines -- Piston rings -- Scraper rings made of cast iron
This International Standard specifies a fatigue test for the quality control of narrow V-belts (sections AV 10 and AV 13) intended for driving the auxiliaries of internal combustion engines used for automotive purposes. NOTE The dimensional characteristics of these belts and of the corresponding pulleys are the subject of ISO 2790.

Internal combustion engines. Piston rings. General specifications
This part of ISO 6621 specifies the general characteristics of piston rings for reciprocating internal combustion engines for road vehicles and other applications (the individual dimensional criteria for these rings are given in the relevant International Standards). It also provides a system for ring coding, designation, and marking. It is applicable to all such rings of a nominal diameter from 30 mm up to and including 200 mm.

This International Standard specifies the principal dimensional characteristics of V-ribbed pulley groove profiles, together with the corresponding endless V-ribbed belts of PK profile which are used predominantly for automotive accessory drive applications. The complete array of V-ribbed belts and pulleys of PH, PJ, PK, PL and PM profile for industrial and other non-automotive applications is the subject of ISO 9982. PK belt profile dimensions and tolerances are the same in both International Standards.
