IEC 60077-3:2019 is available as IEC 60077-3:2019 RLV which contains the International Standard and its Redline version, showing all changes of the technical content compared to the previous edition.IEC 60077-3:2019 gives the rules for circuit-breakers, the main contacts of which are connected to DC power and/or auxiliary circuits. The nominal voltage of these circuits does not exceed 3 000 V DC according to IEC 60850. This part of IEC 60077, together with IEC 60077-2, states specifically: a) the characteristics of the circuit-breakers; b) the service conditions with which circuit-breakers complies with reference to: - operation and behaviour in normal service; - operation and behaviour in the case of short circuit - dielectric properties; c) the tests for confirming the compliance of the components with the characteristics under the service conditions and the methods to be adopted for these tests; d) the information to be marked on, or given with, the circuit breaker. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition, issued in 2001. This edition includes the following main technical changes with regard to the previous edition: - procedure of verification of temperature rise is changed; - air-tightness test as type test, insulation resistance measurement are added.

This document specifies a calculation method of recyclability and recoverability rates for rolling stock. The method defined in this document applies to the design of new rolling stock. However, it can be applied to other existing rolling stock depending on available information. If calculation of recyclability or recoverability is applied to separate parts and/or products used in rolling stock and a specific calculation standard or method exists for the part and/or product, such standard or method can be applied, if relevant. This calculation method is applicable regardless of any geographical concern. This calculation method is applicable to any stage of life cycle of rolling stock. The calculated recyclability and recoverability rates are valid at the point of delivering the rolling stock products or equipment. Future recycling technologies or predicted trends with respect to the recycling industry are excluded from any consideration for this calculation method. This calculation method considers the four main treatment processes, which are reuse, recycling, energy recovery and disposal (Figure 1). Process losses of recycling are treated in the disposal stage. The residue substances of the energy recovery stage (mostly ash and slag) and the residue of the incineration process of the disposal stage are most likely landfilled. Figure 1 — End-of-life treatment The application of this calculation method considers the rolling stock or equipment as delivered. Spare parts and/or maintenance parts necessary to keep the rolling stock in service over the entire life cycle,  e.g. brake pads, are not taken into account. Also, infrastructure systems like stations, electrification, signal and control units, etc. are excluded from the calculation (Figure 2). Figure 2 — Scope of the calculation

IEC 62290-3:2019 specifies the system architecture for Urban Guided Transport Management and Command/Control systems (UGTMS) as defined in IEC 62290-1 and IEC 62290-2, and the allocation of functions and requirements defined in IEC 62290-2 to the different UGTMS subsystems (designated as system constituents in IEC 62290-1 and IEC 62290-2), for use in urban guided passenger transport lines and networks. For specific applications, some elements may be added to meet the requirements coming from additional functions or equipment.

The purpose of this document is to analyse the conducted investigation and evaluation of lateral displacement and buffer overlap between each two specified vehicles of different train sets for defined running cases in curves. For this purpose, the types of vehicles defining the train sets and different operating conditions are specified. Position of the vehicles on the track at the moment of maximum lateral displacement (minimum buffer overlap) is recorded during the calculation. The worst cases of lateral displacement and buffer overlap between two coupled vehicles as well as relation to formulae in EN 15551:2009 are analysed.
