The purpose of this Code is to establish procedures for the conduct and report of tests of heat recovery steam generators (HRSG) employed in combined cycle installations. Combined cycle, as used herein, shall be interpreted as a gas turbine exhausting into an HRSG, which may or may not be arranged for supplemental firing. This Code provides standard test procedures which will yield results having the highest level of accuracy consistent with current engineering knowledge and practice. The purposes of testing under this Code are the determination of (a) efficiency, or effectiveness, at specified operating conditions; (b) capacity at specified operating conditions; (c) other related operating characteristics such as steam temperature and control range, inlet gas flow and temperature; pressure drops in combustion air, gas, steam and water circuits; quality and/or purity of steam; and air and bypass stack gas leakage. The rules and instructions given in this Code apply to HRSG units employed in combined cycle installations. Units operating with more than approximately 40 percent excess air shall be tested in accordance with the requirements of this Code. Units operating with less than approximately 20 percent excess air shall be tested in accordance with Performance Test Code PTC-4.1, Steam Generating Units. For units operating between 20 percent and 40 percent excess air, guidance as to the preferred test method can be obtained in Appendix 7.1. Orsat analysis is not required for tests performed under this Code. Testing of auxiliary equipment shall be governed by the Performance Test Code applying specifically to the auxiliary in question. This Code is not applicable to solid fuel fired units. The HRSG covered by this Code is encompassed by the envelope boundary shown in Fig. 1.1.

1.01 This Code covers devices used in removing condensate and non-condensibles from steam systems. It covers devices used for intermittent or continuous removal of fluids such as steam traps, orifices and valves. 1.02 The purpose of this Code is to specify and define the practice of conducting tests of condensate removal devices to determine: (a) Condensate discharge capacity, for specified conditions of saturated and subcooled condensate and back pressure. (b) Steam loss, under specified conditions.

Automatic sprayer burners for domestic fuel oil with a flow rate of up to 200 kg/H.
The purpose of this Code is to estabish procedures for conducting performance tests to determine: Gas side efficiency; Air leakage; Other related operating characteristics such as: X-Ratio; Gas and air pressure loss; Gas and air temperature; A determination of any or all of the performance items specified above may be necessary for: Checking the actual performance against the manufacturer's guarantee; Comparing these items with a standard of operation; Comparing performance when firing different fuels; Determining the effect of changes to equipment; Determining corrections to air heater exit gas temperature caused by variations in inlet air temperature in an efficiency test of a steam generator. Obtaining any other pertinent information required. This Code applies specifically to the regenerative and tubular type air heaters. It also applies to any combustion gas-to-air heat exchangers used in conjunction with a steam generator. For the purpose of this Code, the air heater is defined as a heat exchanger used to transfer heat from gases of combustion to combustion air without the use of an intermediate heat transfer fluid. Specifically excluded are the supplementary steam coil air heater, direct fired air heater and low temperature economizer. However, a separate low temperature air heater would be considered part of the air heater installation. If the installation consists of more than one air heater in parallel, all air heaters are included as a unit. However, if the air heaters are in series and have other apparatus in between, then each air heater, or each group of parallel air heaters, shall be tested individually.
