Covers the dimensional requirements necessary to ensure the correct mating of palm type couplings intended for connecting the pneumatic braking systems of drawing vehicles to trailers or semi-trailers.
Pneumatic braking system connections between drawing and drawn vehicles Part 2: Palm type couplings
The standard is about Agricultural vehicles — Mechanical connections on towed vehicles — Part 2: Coupling ring 40 with socket TECHNICAL CORRIGENDUM 1
Agricultural vehicles - Mechanical connections on towed vehicles - Part 2: Coupling ring 40 with socket; Technical Corrigendum 1
Specifies the requirements for towballs for towing vehicles of up to 5 t towing vehicle mass, intended for towing trailers and caravans of up to 3.5 t aggregate trailer mass for use on public roads.
Caravan and light trailer towing components - 50 mm towballs
This part of ISO 5692 specifies the requirements for the attachment of agricultural non-balanced trailers and implements by means of hitch rings to the rear of the towing vehicle equipped with either a hook as specified in ISO 6489-1, or a piton-type coupling as specified in ISO 6489-4. Its purpose is to ensure the interchangeability of mechanical connections on agricultural towed vehicles. This part of ISO 5692 is applicable to rings whose coupling point is below the centre-line of the rear axle and below the power take-off (PTO) of the tractor. NOTE Other International Standards are under development for rings coupled above the PTO.
Agricultural vehicles - Mechanical connections on towed vehicles - Part 1: Dimensions for hitch rings
This British Standard specifies requirements for devices intended to measure the static vertical mass of towed vehicles. Such devices are commonly known as "noseweight gauges". This British Standard only applies to all towed vehicles up to 3 500 kg maximum technical permissible laden mass. NOTE Normally such towed vehicles are fitted with a 50 mm ball coupling device but the manufacturer of a noseweight gauge may also specify its suitability for use with other coupling devices.
Specification for a device for measuring the static vertical mass (noseweight)at the coupling point of the towed vehicle
This part of ISO 5692 specifies the requirements for vehicle coupling rings with a ring inside diameter of 40 mm for coupling with the drawbar coupling specified in ISO 6489-2, and for ensuring vehicle coupling with the necessary horizontal and vertical rotation angle. This part of ISO 5692 is applicable to couplings where the vertical static load is not more than 2 000 kg and the dynamic horizontal load is not more than the D value of 120 kN. NOTE For value D, see ISO 6489-2.

This International Standard specifies strength test conditions and requirements for 50 and 90 fifth wheel kingpins. NOTE See ISO 337 and ISO 4086 .
Road vehicles - Fifth wheel kingpins - Strength test
This International Standard specifies strength test conditions and requirements for the 40 mm and 50 mm drawbar couplings and corresponding drawbar eyes for hinged drawbars. NOTE See ISO 3584 for couplings, and ISO 1102 and ISO 8755 for eyes.
Road vehicles - Drawbar couplings and eyes for hinged drawbars - Strength tests
Commercial vehicles with 24 V systems - 15-pole connectors between towing vehicles and trailers - Dimensions and contact allocation; Technical Corrigendum 1
This standard specifies the minimum requirements and test methods for lashing points fitted to commercial vehicles and trailers with flatbed body construction of maximum total mass above 3,5t and intended for general use. The standard does not apply to: - vehicles designed and constructed exclusively for the transportation of bulk materials; - vehicles designed and constructed exclusively for the transportation of specific cargo with particular securing requirements.
Securing of cargo on road vehicles - Lashing points on commercial vehicles for goods transportation - Minimum requirements and testing
This British Standard specifies requirements, including those for certain dimensions, performance and packaging for flexible tow rope assemblies for towing motor vehicles having a maximum gross mass of 2 tonnes.
Tow rope assemblies for towing passenger cars and light vans
Covers requirements for ball type couplings and towing brackets for the towing of caravans and light trailers of gross vehicle mass (GVM) not exceeding 3 500 kg.

Road vehicles. Coupling balls for caravans and light trailers. Dimensions.
Prescribes the dimensions necessary for the compatibility of mechanical coupling devices between light trailers or caravans and towing vehicles when the latter are fitted with a coupling ball. Replaces the second edition.
