This European Standard specifies the particular requirements for wrought aluminium and aluminium alloys in the form of circle or circle stock for general applications. It applies to:- Circles made out of hot or cold rolled circles stock by; - Blanking: thickness 0,2 mm up to including 12 mm and with a diameter up to 1000 mm; - Sawing or shearing: thickness 0,2 mm up to and including 200 mm with a diameter up to 3500 mm; - Hot or cold rolled circle stock with a thickness from 0,2 mm up to and including 200 mm and with a width up to 3500 mm. It does not apply to slugs for impact extrusions or to circle and circle stock for culinary utensils applications which are dealt with in other European Standards.

NOTE Circles with a diameter up to 1000 mm can be produced by blanking; - Hot or cold-rolled circle stock with a thickness from 0,2 mm up to and including 12 mm and with a width up to 1600 mm. This European Standard is not applicable to slugs for impact extrusions which are dealt with in other European Standards.

This European Standard specifies safety, constructional and performance requirements of valve-proving systems, hereafter referred to as VPS, intended for use with gas burners and gas-burning appliances. It also describes the test procedures for checking compliance with these requirements and provides information necessary for the purchaser and user. This European Standard applies to all types of VPS which are used for the automatic detection of leakage in a gas burner section having at least two valves designed in accordance with EN 161 and which give a signal if the leakage of one of the valves exceeds the detection limit. This European Standard applies to VPSs with a maximum working pressure up to and including 500 kPa for use in systems using fuel gases of the 1st, 2nd or 3rd families. This European Standard does not apply to VPSs for use in explosive atmospheres. This European Standard is applicable to AC and DC supplied VPS (for VPS supplied by stand-alone battery system, battery systems for mobile applications or systems which are intended to be connected to DC supply networks VPS see Annex I). Provisions for production control are not part of this European Standard.

5.1 The energy input rate test is used to confirm that the cook-and-hold oven is operating properly prior to further testing. 5.2 Preheat energy and time can be useful to food service operators to manage power demands and to know how quickly the cook-and-hold oven can be ready for operation. 5.3 Idle energy rate and pilot energy rate can be used to estimate energy consumption during non-cooking periods. 5.4 Energy utilization factor is a precise indicator of a cook-and-hold oven’s energy performance while cooking and holding a typical food product under various loading conditions. If energy performance information is desired using a food product other than the specified test food, the test method could be adapted and applied. Energy performance information allows an end user to better understand the operating characteristics of a cook-and-hold oven. 5.5 Production capacity information can help an end user to better understand the production capabilities of a cook-and-hold oven as it is used to cook a typical food product and this could help in specifying the proper size and quantity of equipment. If production information is desired using a food product other than the specified test food, the test method could be adapted and applied. 5.6 Holding energy rate may be used to determine the cost of holding cooked product in the cook-and-hold oven. 5.7 Product yield may be used by the food service operator to compare relative product output from one cook-and-hold oven to another. Additionally, product shrinkage during holding may be used by the food service operator to evaluate the cook-and-hold oven’s performance when holding cooked product. 1.1 This test method evaluates the energy consumption and cooking performance of cook-and-hold ovens. The food service operator can use this evaluation to select a cook-and-hold oven and understand its energy consumption. 1.2 This test method is applicable to gas and electric cook-and-hold ovens. 1.3 The cook-and-hold oven can be evaluated with respect to the following (where applicable): 1.3.1 Energy input rate (10.2). 1.3.2 Preheat energy consumption and time (10.3). 1.3.3 Idle energy rate (10.4). 1.3.4 Pilot energy rate (if applicable) (10.5). 1.3.5 Cooking energy rate, and production capacity (10.7)......

This International Standard specifies the characteristics of carbon steel sheet of commercial and drawing qualities in cut length or coil form, zinc coated by electrolytic deposition. Electrolytic zinc-coated sheet is intended for the manufacture of formed or of miscellaneous parts, and can be supplied chemically treated to render it more suitable for painting. The zinc coating is expressed in micrometres of thickness per side, for equally coated, differentially coated, or one-side-coated sheets. These sheets are generally produced with coatings, which are not intended to withstand outdoor exposure without chemical treatment and painting. Electrolytic zinc-coated sheet can be produced in thicknesses of 0,36 mm and thicker (normally up to 4,0 mm) and in widths of 600 mm and over in coils or cut lengths. It is recognized that materials thinner than 0,36 mm or thicker than 4,0 mm can be suitable for electrolytic zinc coating, and, if required, be the subject of agreement between the interested parties.
