The guideline describes the general principles for the treatment, handling, avoidance and reduction of microbiological contamination in cleanrooms. The guideline is intended to aid the user of hygienic production processes under controlled clean conditions in choosing options for establishing optmised control concepts for microbiological contamination in accordance with the state of the art.
