Scope
This standard specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of steel welded gas cylinders (hereinafter referred to as steel cylinders). This standard is applicable to steel cylinders with a pressure test pressure of not more than 12 MPa (gauge pressure), a nominal volume of 0.5L to 1000L, and refillable low-pressure liquefied gas used at a normal ambient temperature of -40°C to 60°C. Porous filler cylinders filled with acetylene gas. This standard also applies to fire-fighting gas cylinders filled with low-pressure liquefied gas and its mixture with compressed gas for fire-fighting.
