Scope
This part of GB/T28799 specifies the terms, definitions, symbols and abbreviations, materials, product classification, selection of pipe series S, requirements, and system application for heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) pipes (hereinafter referred to as "pipes") Properties, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage. This Part, together with other parts of GB/T 28799, applies to hot and cold water piping systems, including hot and cold water, drinking water and heating systems for civil and industrial buildings, hot spring piping systems and central heating secondary pipe network systems, etc. This section applies to PE-RTⅠand PE-RTⅡpipes. The PE-RTI type pipes in this part are not suitable for hot spring piping system and central heating secondary pipe network system. Note: The purchaser is responsible for properly selecting this product according to its specific application requirements and in combination with relevant laws, standards or normative requirements.
