Scope
This part of GB/T31489 specifies the operating characteristics of cross-linked polyethylene insulated submarine cables for direct current transmission with a rated voltage of 500 kV and below. Product designation. Technical requirements. Finished cable marks, tests, acceptance rules, shipment, storage and transportation, and Post-installation test. This section applies to XLPE insulated DC submarine cables with a rated voltage of 500 kV and below used under submarine laying and operating conditions. For underwater cables laid in rivers and lakes, it can also be implemented by reference.
