Scope

This part of GB/T31489 specifies the usage characteristics, product name, technical requirements, accessory marks, accessory test, acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage of XLPE insulated power cable accessories for DC transmission with rated voltage of 500 kV and below. This part applies to terminals and joints of cross-linked polyethylene insulated DC land cables and DC submarine cables for DC transmission with rated voltages up to and including 500 kV.
