Scope
This part of GB/T 31489 specifies the test methods and requirements for extruded insulated power cable systems (including DC terrestrial cables, DC submarine cables and their accessories) for DC transmission with a rated voltage of 500 kV and below. This part applies to cross-linked polyethylene insulated DC power cables of 500 kV and below installed on land and on the seabed. It is also applicable to land cable accessories such as joints and terminals of land cables, as well as factory joints (soft joints) and repair joints of submarine cables. , Submarine cable accessories such as transition joints and terminals between submarine DC cables and land DC cables.
