Scope

This chapter of GB/T 19212.1-2016 is replaced by the following content: This part of GB/T 19212 specifies the safety of transformers for construction sites and power supply units with built-in transformers for construction sites. Transformers with electronic circuits are also included in this standard. Note 1: Safety requirements include electrical, temperature and mechanical aspects. Unless otherwise specified, the following "transformers" include transformers for construction sites and power supply units for transformers for construction sites. This section applies to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (self-cooled or air-cooled), supporting or independent use and isolation or safety isolation dry-type transformers for construction sites. Windings can be encapsulated or non-encapsulated. The rated power supply voltage does not exceed AC 1000V, and the rated power frequency and internal operating frequency do not exceed 500 Hz. When this section is used in conjunction with GB/T 19212.17 switching power supply unit, it also applies to power supply units with an internal operating frequency exceeding 500 Hz. When the requirements of the two standards are inconsistent, the more stringent standard takes precedence. Rated output should not exceed: --- 25kVA, for single-phase transformers; --- 40kVA, for multi-phase transformers. If the purchaser and the manufacturer agree otherwise, this section also applies to transformers with unlimited rated output. Note 2: This scope does not include transformers intended for distribution networks. The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage of isolation transformers for construction sites and power supply units with built-in isolation transformers for construction sites exceed AC 50V but do not exceed AC 250V. The no-load output voltage and rated output voltage of safety isolation transformers for construction sites and power supply units with built-in safety isolation transformers for construction sites shall not exceed AC 50V. Note 3: This standard applies to transformers used as power supplies in places specified in GB/T 16895.7. GB/T16895.7 also stipulates the protective measures for grounding with the middle point of the output winding or the star connection point. The transformers and power supply units covered by this standard are used in installation regulations or equipment specifications for protective purposes. When transformers or power supply units are incorporated into low-voltage switchgear and control equipment for construction sites specified in GB/T 7251.4, the additional requirements of GB/T 7251.4 also apply to the complete equipment. Note 4: For transformers filled with liquid media or powder materials (such as sand), additional requirements are under consideration. Note 5: Pay attention to the following instructions: --- Protective measures to prevent the enclosure and components inside the enclosure from external influences such as mold, pests, termites, solar radiation and freezing should also be considered; ---Transportation and storage of transformers and power supply units Different conditions of operation and operation should also be considered; — for transformers intended to be used in special environments, such as tropical environments, additional requirements may be adopted in accordance with other applicable standards and national regulations.
