Scope
This chapter of GB/T 19212.1-2016 is replaced with the following content: This part of GB/T 19212 specifies the safety requirements for high insulation level separation transformers and separation transformers with an output voltage exceeding 1000 V. Transformers with electronic circuits are also included in this standard. Note 1: Safety requirements include electrical, temperature and mechanical aspects. Unless otherwise specified, the following "transformers" include high insulation level separating transformers and separating transformers with an output voltage exceeding 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. This section applies to stationary or mobile, single-phase or multi-phase, air-cooled (natural cooling or forced cooling), independent or supporting dry-type transformers. Its windings can be encapsulated or non-encapsulated. This standard applies to transformers and power supply units (linear) with an internal operating frequency not exceeding 500 Hz. When this section is used in conjunction with GB/T 19212.17 switching power supply unit, it also applies to power supply units with an internal operating frequency exceeding 500 Hz. When the requirements of the two standards are inconsistent, the more stringent standard takes precedence. This section applies to rated power supply voltage not exceeding AC 1000V, rated power frequency and internal operating frequency not exceeding 500 Hz. This section applies to rated output not exceeding: --- 25kVA for single-phase transformers; --- 40kVA for multi-phase transformers. If the purchaser and the manufacturer agree otherwise, this section also applies to transformers that do not limit the rated output. This section applies to the no-load output voltage or rated output voltage: --- for high insulation level separation transformers not exceeding AC 1000V or DC 1500V; --- for separation transformers with output voltage exceeding 1000V, exceeding AC 1000V or DC 1500V and not exceeding Exceeding AC or DC 15000V. This part does not apply to: --- Transformers covered by GB/T1094.11; --- Neon lamp transformers covered by GB/T19149; --- IEC61347 2
