This part of GB/T28029 specifies the communication specifications between the vehicle system and the ground system. Communication systems, interfaces and protocols are specified as mobile communication functions, which can use all available wireless technologies. This standard provides requirements for the following purposes: a) selection of wireless networks based on quality of service (QoS) parameters requested by applications; b) allowing train control and monitoring systems (TCMS) and/or on-board multimedia to be installed on vehicles and communicate with on-board networks and Telematics Services (OMTS) applications to remotely access applications running on ground facilities ;)c Allow applications running on ground facilities to remotely access on-board TCMS and/or OMTS applications. In order to enable the application of terminal equipment connected to the TCN network and adopt the virtual/functional addressing mechanism specified in GB/T 28029.4-2020 to connect with the ground application and perform data interaction, this part specifies further requirements. In addition, this section covers security requirements to ensure that only authorized and authenticated applications open interfaces and encrypt exchanged data. Safety-related data communication between on-board and ground applications and passenger Internet connectivity services are outside the scope of this standard.
