Scope: This chapter of Part 1 is applicable after making the following changes: Replaced with: This standard applies to appliances and equipment with a rated voltage not exceeding 250V and a rated current not exceeding 16A, which are used by the hands, feet or other human body Action-driven cord switch (hereinafter referred to as switch). To read: This standard applies to switches connected to flexible cords. Note: ① Switches used in tropical climate environment may need to add some additional requirements. ②Appliance standards may impose additional or alternative requirements on switches. ③ In this standard, the word "apparatus" refers to apparatus or equipment. ④ When testing cord switches, Part 1 applies. When testing other types of cord switches such as electronic cord switches, this standard is only applicable in combination with relevant parts. This section does not apply.
