Scope: In addition to the following provisions, this chapter of GB 15092.1-2003 applies: 1.1 is changed to read: Independently installed switches (mechanical or electronic) with a rated voltage not greater than 480V and a rated current not greater than 63A. This type of switch is intended to be operated by a person via an actuator or by actuating a sensor. The actuator or sensor can be physically or electrically integrated with the switch, or it can be configured separately, and may also include signal transmission between the actuator or sensor and the switch, for example, electrical, optical, acoustic or Temperature signal transmission. Switches with additional control functions required by the on and off functions fall within the scope of this standard.
