Scope

This part of GB/T 20000 specifies: - guidelines for the demonstration and evaluation of management system standard projects to assess their market relevance; - methods (processes) for the development and maintenance (e.g. review and revision) of management system standards - guidance on the terminology, structure and common elements of management system standards to ensure compatibility and increase consistency and ease of use. This part divides the management system standards into the following three types: ——Class A: general management system requirements standards and professional management system requirements standards; ——Category B: general management system guiding standards and professional management system guiding standards; ——C Category: Management system related standards. Although this part is mainly aimed at Type A management system standards, it is also applicable to Type B management system standards. In addition to the provisions of 7.3 of this part concerning the structure and common elements of management system standards, other contents are also applicable to category C management system standards. This part is applicable to institutions and drafters who formulate management system requirement standards, management system guidance standards and management system-related standards. This standard does not apply to organizations that implement management systems and organizations that certify management systems.
