Scope: This standard specifies the durability requirements and test methods for the exhaust pollutant emission control system of heavy-duty vehicles. This standard is applicable to the M₂, M₃, N₂ and N₃ types with exhaust after-treatment devices and the design speed greater than 25km/h, and the total mass is greater than The type approval and production consistency inspection of 3500kg M₁ motor vehicles are used to assess the durability of the exhaust pollutant emission control system. When a motor vehicle using an exhaust after-treatment device undergoes type approval and production consistency inspection according to GB 14762-2002 or GB 17691-2001 Phase II, or GB 17691-2005 Phase III, it shall meet this standard for exhaust pollution. requirements for the durability of emission control systems. Exhaust after-treatment devices that are type-approved as independent technical assemblies can implement this standard.
