The temperature change test is suitable for determining the influence of one or several consecutive temperature changes on the test sample. This test cannot be used to examine the effects caused only by high temperature or low temperature. For such effects, high temperature or low temperature test methods should be used. The main parameters affecting the temperature change test are: - the high and low temperature values of the temperature change range; - the holding time of the test sample at high temperature and low temperature; - the rate of temperature change between low temperature to high temperature or high temperature to low temperature; - the number of cycles of the condition test; - the total heat absorbed or released by the test sample. For guidelines on selecting applicable test parameters, see GB/T 2424.13-2002 "Environmental Testing of Electrical and Electronic Products Part 2: Guidelines for Testing Temperature Change Tests", which should be used together with this part.
