Scope

This standard applies to single-phase and three-phase oil-immersed power transformers (including autotransformers) specified in GB l094.1, except for some small and special transformers. This standard is to inspect transformer windings according to the rated insulation level of the equipment with the highest voltage Um. This standard specifies the minimum air insulation gaps to be used for insulation tests and between live parts of bushings and between them and earth. For some power transformers and reactors that have their own standards, this standard is applicable only when they are explicitly referenced by these product standards.
