This part of GB 1094 applies to three-phase and single-phase transformers (including autotransformers), but does not include some small and special transformers, such as: --Single-phase transformers with a rated capacity of less than 1 kVA and three-phase transformers with a rated capacity of 5 kVA ;--Transformers with rated voltage of all windings not higher than 1 000 V;--Transformers;--Electric locomotive traction transformers;--Starting transformers;--Test transformers;--Welding transformers; ;--Transformers for deep water (immersion). When there is no corresponding standard for certain types of transformers (especially industrial special transformers with all winding voltages not higher than 1 000 V), this Part can be applied in whole or in part. This section does not deal with the requirements for transformers installed in public places. For transformers and reactors with relevant standards, this section only applies to the scope of content that is clearly mentioned by their product standards and can be referred to each other. These products (standards) include: -- Reactor (GB/T 1094.6); -- Dry-type transformer (GB 1094.11); -- Self-protected transformer (IEC 60076-13); -- Gas-filled power transformer (IEC 60076- 15);--Transformers for wind power generation (GB 1094.16);--Traction transformers and traction reactors (GB/T 25120);--Industrial converter transformers (GB/T 18494.1);--Converter transformers for HVDC (GB/T 18494.2). Several provisions or recommendations in this section refer to the agreement that some alternatives, additional technical solutions or procedures need to be reached. Such an agreement needs to be reached between the manufacturer and the user. Questions should be asked early on and agreements should be included in technical specifications.
