Scope: This part of GB 1094 stipulates the requirements that power transformers should not be damaged under the action of overcurrent caused by external short circuit. This part describes the calculation procedure for characterizing the heat-resistant ability of power transformers to withstand such overcurrents and the special test and theoretical evaluation methods for the corresponding dynamic stability ability. This section applies to transformers within the scope specified in GB 1094.1.
