Scope: This standard specifies the requirements that power transformers should not be damaged under the action of overcurrent caused by external short circuit. This standard describes the calculation procedure for characterizing the heat resistance capability of power transformers to withstand such overcurrent and the special test and calculation methods for the corresponding dynamic stability capability. This standard applies to transformers within the scope specified in the GB l094.1 standard.
