This part of GB/T 6072 summarizes the general measurement techniques for the main performance parameters of reciprocating internal combustion engines to ensure the necessary measurement accuracy. Make the measured value comparable with the specified value of the engine manufacturer. If necessary, separate requirements can be made for specific purpose engines. This standard applies to land, railway traction and marine reciprocating internal combustion engines, but does not include driving agricultural tractors, road vehicles and aviation engines. This section can be applied to drive road construction machinery and earth moving machinery, industrial trucks and other purposes for which no suitable national standard is currently available.
