Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the color fastness to washing of all types of textiles for general household use, including 5 tests in different washing procedures from mild to vigorous. This standard is only used to determine the effect of washing on the color fastness of textiles, and does not reflect the results of comprehensive laundering procedures.
