Within the basic scope described in GB/T 17971.1, Chapter 5 of this part of GB/T 17971 defines the keyboard assignment of graphic character sets. These input graphic character sets are specified in A.4.1 "281 (MES- 1)" defined in. When assigning these characters, the keyboard layout standards of the national versions and the layout of the supplementary Latin group in Chapter 6 of this part are combined. This section is primarily intended for word processing and text processing applications.
