- Scope
- This standard specifies the technical requirements for the type and size, material and mechanical properties of fasteners used for pipe flange connections. This standard applies to fasteners used for pipe flange connections of different materials such as steel flanges, cast iron flanges, copper alloys and composite flanges. Fasteners specified in this standard include hex head bolts, equal-length studs, fully threaded studs, hex nuts, and large hex nuts.
