Scope
This standard specifies the welding process assessment of butt welds and fillet welds, corrosion-resis ant surfacing welding process assessment, composite metal material welding process assessment, and heat exchange tube and tube plate welding process assessment of pressure equipment (boilers, pressure vessels, pressure pipelines) and additional qualifications for welding procedures and rules, test methods and qualification indicators for stud arc welding procedure qualifications. This standard applies to welding methods such as gas welding, electrode arc welding, submerged arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, electroslag welding, plasma arc welding, friction welding, gas-electric vertical welding and stud arc welding.
