Scope

This standard specifies television broadcasting receivers (including color televisions and black-and-white televisions, hereinafter referred to as televisions) that receive analog television signals and use cathode ray tube (CRT), liquid crystal (LCD), and plasma (PDP) display devices. Technical requirements, test methods; inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. This standard applies to color TVs, LCD TVs, plasma TVs with a screen size of not less than 37 cm, and black and white TVs with a screen size of not less than 31 cm. It is the basis for formulating product specifications and testing product quality. Color TV sets with a screen size below 37 cm and black-and-white TV broadcast receivers with a screen size below 31 cm can be used as a reference when formulating product specifications and inspecting product quality.
