Scope

This part of GB 12668 specifies the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements for electrical drive systems (PDS). PDS is defined as described in 3.1. The electrical drive system here includes speed-adjustable AC motor drive and DC motor drive. These EMC requirements are specified for PDS where the effective value of the input and/or output voltage (line voltage) of the converter is below 35 kV AC. This section applies to the evaluation of PDS. It can also be used to evaluate the CDM or BDM sold separately (see 3.1). This part contains: requirements for conformity assessment of products to be placed on the market; recommended engineering design practices for occasions where high-frequency emissions cannot be measured before the equipment is placed on the market (this type of PDS is defined as category C4 in 3.2.6) .
