Scope: This section gives guidelines for the application of the basic requirements and specifications covered by GB/T 3859.1 in different situations, so that the provisions in GB/T 3859.1 can be adapted to special applications in a controlled manner. In order to facilitate the use of GB/T 3859.1, background information is given at key technical points. This part mainly covers grid commutated converters. As far as the existing standards cannot provide the necessary information, this section itself is not a specification (unless certain auxiliary components are involved).
