- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of domestic and similar drinking water treatment devices. This standard applies to household and similar drinking water treatment installations (hereinafter referred to as "drinking water treatment installations").
