Scope

This part of GB/T 24242 specifies the size, shape, weight and allowable deviation, ordering content, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking and quality of non-alloy steel wire rods for wire making. Certificate etc. This part applies to high-quality wire rods (hereinafter referred to as wire rods) for drawing and (or) cold-rolling steel wires with higher performance requirements.
