Scope

This part of GB 19725 specifies the safety requirements and test methods for the design, structure and use of portable brush cutters and lawn mowers that use the internal combustion engine as the power source and transmit the mechanical power to the cutting attachment. Or to reduce various hazards caused by the use of the whole machine, it specifies the requirements for relevant information on safe operation provided by the manufacturer. This part and the relevant chapters of Part 1 (see 4.1) deal with all serious hazards, dangerous situations and serious hazardous events related to the complete machine during normal use and reasonable, manufacturer-foreseeable misuse of the complete machine. Whole body vibration hazards from powerplants are excluded. This section applies to products produced after its promulgation and implementation. This section does not apply to machines fitted with non-integral metal blade structures, such as swing chains or swing knife blades.
