Scope

This standard specifies the inspection items, inspection methods, inspection requirements and inspection results disposal of motor vehicle safety technical inspection. This standard applies to motor vehicle safety technical inspection agencies conducting safety technical inspections of motor vehicles. This standard is also applicable to the safety technical inspection of entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies for motor vehicles entering the country. Motor vehicles approved for actual road tests and temporary entry motor vehicles may refer to this standard for safety technical inspection. This standard does not apply to the safety technical inspection of tractors running on roads such as tractor transport units.
