This standard specifies the basic immunity requirements for public telecommunication network equipment and telecommunication terminal equipment, as well as the minimum test level in a given environment. If there are applicable special product (family) standards, the special product (family) standards shall be followed first. This standard applies to all types of equipment listed below: --Telecommunication network equipment, including: switching equipment, transmission equipment, wireless equipment, power supply equipment, servers and storage equipment, monitoring equipment and control equipment. --Telecommunications terminal equipment, including: wireless terminal equipment, telephone, fax machine and private exchange. --Telecommunication network interconnection equipment. This standard does not apply to protection requirements for equipment.
