Scope

This part of GB/T 5170 specifies the inspection items, inspection equipment and requirements, inspection load, inspection conditions, inspection methods, inspection results, inspection cycle, etc. of salt spray test equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment"). This section applies to the inspection of equipment used in GB/T 2423.17 and GB/T 2423.18. This section also applies to the inspection of similar equipment. See GB/T 5170.5-2016 for inspection of damp heat equipment used in alternating salt spray test.
