Scope

This standard applies to fixed capacitors and resistor-capacitor assemblies for the suppression of electromagnetic interference in power supplies, these capacitors and resistor-capacitor assemblies are connected to the power supply, and the voltage between the power supply lines does not exceed 1 000 V d.c. over 100 Hz.
