GB/T 12706.2-2020 Power cables with extruded insulation and their accessories for rated voltages from 1 kV (Um=1.2 kV) up to 35 kV (Um=40.5 kV)—Part 2: Cables for rated voltages from 6 kV(Um=7.2 kV) up to 30 kV(Um=36 kV) (English Version)
This part of GB/T12706 specifies the structure, size and test requirements of the rated voltage 6kV to 30kV extruded insulation power cables. This part applies to power cables with extruded insulation of rated voltage 6kV to 30kV for fixed installation in distribution networks or industrial installations. This section also applies to longitudinal water-blocking structural cables and their tests. When deciding on cable applications, the possible risk of radial water ingress should be considered. This section does not apply to cables for special installation and operating conditions, such as overhead cables, mining industry, nuclear power plants (in and near containment), and underwater or ship cables.
