Scope

This part of GB/T 16508 specifies the grades of materials and their standards and basic technical requirements allowed for pressure components of shell boilers (including steel plates, steel pipes, steel forgings, steel castings, iron castings, suspenders and braces, tight Firmware, welding materials), applicable range (temperature and pressure) and allowable stress, as well as the material grades and standards allowed for non-pressure components. This part applies to the selection and use of materials for pressure components and non-pressure components of shell boilers defined in GB/T 16508.1.
