- Scope
- This standard specifies the protective conductor terminal block with threaded or non-threaded clamping parts mainly used in industry. The terminal block with PE protection function is not larger than 120mm2 (250MCM) and has PEN protection. Functional terminal blocks greater than or equal to 10mm 2 (AWG8). Protective conductor terminal blocks are used for electrical and mechanical connection between copper conductors and mounting brackets. This standard applies to AC circuits with a voltage not exceeding 1000V (1140V1) and 1000Hz, and DC circuits with a voltage not exceeding 1500V. AWG24～250MCM) protective conductor terminal block for prefabricated or non-prefabricated round copper conductors, the protective conductor terminal block and the terminal block specified in GB14048.7-1998 are usually used together. This standard does not apply to: -- As the special structure of the protective conductor terminal block inside the equipment, its relevant requirements are stipulated in the product standard; Conductor terminals, such as flat push-in connectors. --Protective conductor terminal blocks that require twisted wires to achieve connection, such as twisted joints. - Terminals for protective conductors that make direct contact with the conductor by means of an edged knife or point through the insulation. --Protective conductor terminals involving other special requirements.
